At Scapegoat, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the operational and personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Scapegoat ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information gathered through our proprietary front-end conversion tools and dynamic intake forms embedded across our network of partner websites.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To generate accurate, real-time dynamic fulfillment rates, we collect specific metrics when you interact with our platform:
Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and any other contact details submitted through the Services.
Business and Logistics Profile Information: Inbound and outbound shipment volumes, average pallet storage counts, square footage requirements, product category, storage type, handling requirements, order volume, SKU profile, shipping profile, and other fulfillment-related information submitted through the Services.
Technical and Usage Information: We may collect limited technical information associated with form submissions, such as IP address, device information, browser information, submission timestamp, referring website, and interaction data, where reasonably necessary for security, recordkeeping, analytics, troubleshooting, and verification of form submissions.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to operate the Scapegoat routing and quoting engine and to support fulfillment-related business introductions. Specifically, your information may be used to:
Generate customized quote summaries, including on-screen quotes, automated PDF summaries, and email introductions.
Evaluate whether the warehouse provider hosting the form may be able to support your fulfillment requirements.
Match your submitted fulfillment requirements with one or more logistics providers whose services, infrastructure, location, or capacity may align with your logistics profile.
Communicate with you regarding fulfillment services related to your request.
Maintain records of form submissions, improve the Services, troubleshoot technical issues, protect against misuse, and support platform security.
3. NETWORK ROUTING AND DATA DISCLOSURE FOR QUOTE EVALUATION
Scapegoat does not sell submitted information to data brokers or third-party advertising companies and does not use submitted logistics profile information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Scapegoat operates a logistics quote-routing model that may disclose submitted business contact information and logistics profile information to the warehouse provider hosting the form and to matched logistics providers for the purpose of evaluating fulfillment fit, generating estimated pricing, and following up regarding fulfillment services requested by you.
By submitting an intake form through the Services, you authorize Scapegoat, the warehouse provider hosting the form, and matched logistics providers within the Scapegoat network to use and disclose your submitted business contact information and logistics profile information for the limited purposes described in this Policy, including quote evaluation, business introduction, and related follow-up regarding fulfillment services requested by you.
Initial Evaluation: Your submitted information may be reviewed by the warehouse provider whose website hosts the Scapegoat-powered form, referred to as the “Host 3PL,” to evaluate whether the Host 3PL may be able to support your fulfillment requirements.
Network Routing: If your submitted logistics profile indicates that another provider may be a better operational fit based on location, capacity, storage type, product profile, order volume, or other fulfillment requirements, Scapegoat may route your submitted business contact information and logistics profile information to one or more matched independent logistics providers within the Scapegoat network.
Alternative Quote Generation: Matched logistics providers may receive your submitted business contact information and logistics profile information for the limited purpose of evaluating your fulfillment requirements, generating estimated pricing, and contacting you regarding fulfillment services related to your request.
